The Mailing Wizard can be activated by clicking in the main heading or by clicking an individual setting to launch the wizard at that point. Each option selected will affect the options available in the next step.
The Mailing Wizard consists of 8 sequenced steps:-
The Carrier Specific Options displays additional settings needed for the Carrier selected via the Mailing Wizard.
Whistl Specific Options:-
A Whistl Segment Code is generated automatically each time a Whistl project is run. Whistl Segment Codes should not be duplicated on a collection date therefore for sites with multiple installs it is highly recommend that the Whistl Segment Control Directory is shared. This directory can also be shared with Cygnus although not necessary as each product has its own pool of Whistl Segment Codes to stop any overlap. The Generic Options displays further options which are not specific to a Carrier. The defaults are controlled via Default Options. All options can then be overridden directly on the form.
Although not obvious the Mailing House Directory can also be changed by double clicking.
