When submitting a UK Mail mailing cell that contains Exclusions, GeMMA will output a Consignor compatible container spoils file according to UK Mail's Consignor Live Import Specification v2.6 document.
This feature was added to GeMMA in version 4.4.0+ and to use this feature the GeMMA files need to be produced by Cygnus 6.3.0+ or SwiftSort 2.0.12.1002+.
Once a Mailing Cell has been submitted the manifest upload report will display how many items have been Excluded, Submitted, the Consignor Spoils File name and Consignor Spoils Output folder:-
Consignor Spoils Output folder will contain the Consignor Spoil Files:-
The default output path (C:\ProgramData\SoftwareBureau\Gemma\Data\UK Mail\) can amended via a new UK Mail Consignor Spoils setting found in Controls.
The naming convention of the Consignor Spoil Files is 'SCID-SubmissionId-ExcludedCount-GUID.txt' to make sure they are unique and can be tracked back to the Submission that created them.
