Selections

 

The Selections feature can be used to select items by Item Sequence or Bag Id and is typically used to split a mailing for submission with differing Handover Dates.

 

Selections are defined on the Prepare tab where they can be amended by clicking the Selections button for a Mailing Cell

 

 

The Batch Inclusion window is then displayed showing a Start and End sequence number. These values can adjusted, and in addition, multiple Start and End sequence ranges can be defined. In the below example, the first 2,000 items have been selected from the original 4,095 items:-

 

 

When Save is clicked the selections are set and you are returned to the Prepare tab.

 

 

 

 

The Mailing Cell information has been amended to reflect the Selections. The Selections button now displays how many items have been selected and Items Remaining displays how many items are remaining. A Mailing Cell that contains selections are also highlighted in purple:-

 

 

As selections have been made 2,095 items are now remaining on the Mailing Cells tab, again the text colour has been changed to highlight that this Mailing Cell has selections applied:-
